Mark Evegaars is a Dutch fantasy author, who combines storytelling, worldbuilding, and fantasy tabletop gaming. He’s a biology teacher by profession, and his special love for insects becomes apparent throughout his writing. Mark loves nature and animals, and enjoys hiking with his friends and family. After spending a period of time in Australia, his world view opened to new possibilities and inspired him to start writing professionally, with great support from his friends, family, and students. Mark lives in the centre of the Netherlands with his wife and son. When he is not busy teaching or writing, he spends his time fencing and sword fighting. He believes that fantasy brings us closer and promotes positive collaboration.
