Donna van Hout is a Dutch poet, living in a small town surrounded by nature. Living life together with her little daughter and her giant cat who looks like raccoon but is named Bear. The perfect setting for a nature lover, obsessed with bees, flowers and trees. Donna is happiest when she can connect with nature, preferably by basking in the sun, watching a thunderstorm by a window or admiring the bright full moon from under a blanket. Avidly writing her thoughts throughout the day, she often finds herself with pockets full of little papers scribbled with poetry. In her writings, she finds the magic hidden in the little things that often go unseen, but given time and attention, can be some of the most beautiful. When Donna is not writing, she is spending quality time with her daughter, finding the next subject to learn everything about, or focusing on one of her many hobbies like making music, cooking and baking, or playing games. She has a passion for tea, drinking it all day, every day, with a fondness for various herbal flavours. She encourages you to pour yourself your favourite hot beverage, take a deep breathe, believe in the little things, and you might even see that magic for yourself.
