A.K. Janssen is a pen name Annelie Janssen uses for her children’s books. She is a Dutch poet, children’s writer, and a novelist.

Designing stories with carefully crafted words, she combines them into a whirlwind of emotions and sensations.

Whichever story she crafts for her readers, she aims to bring them a whole new adventure that won’t be easily forgotten.

After a life changing injury, Annelie Janssen transitioned from a professional ballet career into a more law-orientated one, with several stops along the way. She has pursued a wide variety of interests during her journey, and she enjoys conveying them to her readers.

When she is not writing she enjoys spending time relaxing with her loved ones, dancing like there’s no tomorrow, and spreading her love for books to the world.
